I devised these hats for a large Easter drop in event, with simplicity and economy the main brief; and I really enjoyed creating them! So did the children, both boys and girls, who had a great time making them during their visit. I have added them here in a PDF for home use as they were so easy to achieve at home and a useful item over Easter holidays!

PDF instructions and templates for making very simple Easter bonnets, or flower hats and masks, for anytime.
With minimal requirements or outlay; they can literally be made with printer/copier paper, or even newspaper or magazine pages for a very eco activity
This is my method for making flower themed hats and masks very simply (and quickly, if needed). Of course they can be made to look more elaborate, and decorated for unique and individual creations as well!
Full instructions and tips are given, plus I am happy to be emailed if any queries arise.
Templates are included for direct printing on paper or card. There is also one page of multiple templates which can be used to make individual card for drawing around long lasting and saving printing ink!
This is an inexpensive, “open ended” and eco craft activity for family fun from tots to teens (including adults).
I have used this in busy public drop in workshops, so it is a tried and tested success! (See children’s samples in the image.)
Once printed you will only need scissors and glue or sticky tape-plus any colouring pens, and pencils and decoration you wish.
