This purse began with the bird and leaf fabric which immediately suggested a classic arts and crafts feel. The warm tones and flowing shapes reminded me of William Morris designs and the khaki zip was chosen to echo those natural earthy colours. The cream and white lining adds a soft brightness inside and keeps the whole piece feeling calm and refined. The enclosed seams give the purse a tidy finish and a reassuring sense of durability making it a thoughtful everyday companion.

Full description
This compact zipped purse is made from a black cotton fabric covered in stylised birds hearts and leaves. The flowing shapes and warm tones have a classic look that feels reminiscent of William Morris patterns. The front panel is finished with an easy glide khaki zip that blends beautifully with the colours in the design and gives the purse a calm understated finish.
The inside is lined with a cream cotton printed with white stylised flowers and leaves. The pale lining makes it easy to see what is inside and adds a gentle contrast to the darker outer fabric. All seams are fully enclosed so there are no raw edges and the purse feels smooth strong and neatly made.
This small purse is the perfect size for keeping essentials organised, such as pocket money and coins; small toys, fidgets or treasures; credit cards and travel cards; medication or daily tablets; lip balm, earbuds or small personal items and tucking inside a larger bag to keep things easy to find.
The finished size is approximately 13.5 by 10.5 cm.
