The inspiration behind this design was to create a "forever keepsake." I wanted to move away from bright, plastic-looking graphics and return to the gentle, nostalgic feel of traditional British children's book illustrations. The teddy bear represents comfort and companionship—the perfect first friend for a one-year-old. By using a soft water colour palette and elegant navy tones, I’ve designed a card that feels both sophisticated for the parents and sweet for the "Birthday Boy."
