I saw Ann Woods free cat pattern and thought that it would be ideal to make as a page saver. I loved the idea of having the soothing scent of lavender just drifting up whilst reading, and the rice added weight to give it a tactile and comforting feel - it also holds down pages too!

Filled with rice and organic lavender from Provence, this weighted cat created with guitar tab fabric will offer emotional support as well as saving your page in your favourite books.
Place on your shoulder or lap whilst sinking into the pages and breath in the delightful aroma, or hold and listen to the soothing soft whisper of rice and flowers.
Use to help keep a page open, save your page when you need a break or use as a cheeky bookmark and let the cute cat peep out from the pages, waiting for you to come back! These cats can also be used as paper weights.
NOT A TOY Keep out of reach of small children, possible choking hazard.
Check periodically for any damage and repair as necessary - if used correctly this should last many years and maybe even become your next family heirloom!
Protect from humidity, if it gets wet, they can be placed inside a laundry bag and tumble dried but may lose their scent quicker. I recommend air drying on a radiator or in full sun, turning to ensure complete drying thoroughly before using again.
These cute cats have been machine stitched and hand embroidered with love and care using various pre-washed cotton and poly-cotton fabrics, with new or pre-loved buttons for added personality. Meow!
Lavender aroma can last up to ten years, if you find yours has diminished after a few years they can be revived with one or two drops of lavender essential oil.
