I hollowed out a block of clay to make this salt and pepper holder. it was fun creating the galleries for the lids to sit on,.I was also impressed with the lovely off white ivory cream color of the fired clay and the contrasting black script looks great.

Full description
This hand-made ceramic ivory white salt and pepper box with lid is made by hand by carving a block out, with a gallery for a fairly tight fitting lid to keep dry. It holds about 6 to 7 teaspoons of seasoning per pot. Crafted in the United Kingdom, includes two medium-sized salt and pepper boxes with a height of 5 cm and width 11.7 cms and depth of 5 cms. The elegant and charming design features a li on top of each box decorated with a looped handle on each. A most unusual and decorative table serving piece, adding a touch of sophistication to your dining table. There is a raised plaque saying salt and pepper writtten by hand in black. Comes with a hand made miniature serving spoon.
