The inspiration for this piece comes from the "Urban Paradox"—the feeling of being completely alone in our digital worlds while being surrounded by the constant gaze of the public and the city itself. The vibrant blue and yellow palette represents the transition between the coldness of technology and the warmth of human presence. It’s a study on focus, surveillance, and the quiet moments we find while moving through a loud, colourful world.

Full description
This piece features a bold, silhouette of a woman walking through an urban haze, her attention captured by her phone, while a large, detailed eye emerges from the background—symbolizing the constant observation and "eyes" of the city.
The artwork is a dynamic blend of deep cerulean blues and sun-bright yellows, creating a "halo" effect around the central figure. I have used a combination of acrylic washes, printed cut-outs and charcoal to create a rich texture that ranges from smooth, detailed linework in the eye to raw, energetic drips and scribbles at the edges.
Size is A4 landscape. On paper - ideal for framing.
