Inspired by the simple shapes of wild meadow flowers and traditional lino print techniques, this design uses bold contrast and carved detail to create a timeless countryside motif.

A bold miniature piece of folk-inspired botanical art, carefully spray painted and laser engraved in my studio.
This 7.5cm square canvas features my original wildflower and grass design, inspired by traditional folk illustration and vintage woodcut printmaking. The delicate umbel flower and sweeping grasses create a simple, striking silhouette with a timeless countryside feel.
Each canvas is first spray painted in deep black. The design is then laser engraved into the surface, revealing the natural canvas beneath and creating strong contrast and tactile texture reminiscent of relief printing.
