Inspired by folk art birds and the grasses of the countryside, this design draws on traditional woodcut printmaking and bold colour contrast to create a simple, timeless rural motif.

Full description
A miniature piece of folk-inspired woodland art, carefully spray painted and laser engraved in my studio.
This 7.5cm square canvas features my original bird and meadow design, inspired by traditional folk art and 20th century woodcut printmaking. Each canvas is first spray painted in a rich green, then the design is laser engraved into the surface, revealing the natural canvas beneath and creating beautiful contrast and texture.
