This heart angel was inspired by the idea of quiet guardianship — a small, glowing presence that brings calm, comfort, and a sense of gentle protection. The midnight‑blue glass felt perfect for this: deep, peaceful, and full of subtle colour shifts, like twilight skies. The hammered wings were chosen for their soft texture, echoing feathers and the movement of light through air.
The making process is slow and mindful, shaping each curve and smoothing each edge so the angel feels balanced and serene. It’s a piece created to bring a moment of stillness and beauty wherever it hangs.
Safety information
This item is glass and therefore breakable. Please handle with care and secure the item to a fixed point. All edges have been ground to remove sharpness. Consider how you display the glass and that it is in a safe location away from wagging dog tails or small hands! Lead solder has been used but this is very low risk. However, I always wash my hands after handling to reduce the risk to zero.

Full description
A handcrafted stained glass heart angel made with deep, iridescent midnight blue glass for the body and clear hammered glass for the wings. The wings catch the light with a soft, textured shimmer, while the body glows with rich cobalt tones that shift beautifully as the light changes. A pale cobalt glass bead forms the head, and the angel hangs from its halo with a quiet, elegant simplicity.

The finished piece measures approximately 12 cm high (including the halo) and 9 cm wide, this angel is a gentle, versatile piece. It hangs beautifully in a sunny window, brings a quiet sense of peace to a bedside or reading nook, and makes a thoughtful gift for birthdays, new homes, and remembrance moments.
Each angel is individually hand cut and crafted using the Tiffany foiled glass method. Craft glass naturally contains tiny variations and textures, making every angel unique.
Please ensure that you place (and secure) your glass in a safe location; if the piece falls it is likely to break. The item is not a toy.
