These chakra suncatchers grew out of a very personal journey. After a period of ill health, a friend encouraged me to try meditation and mindfulness. That gentle nudge led me to explore chakras and the way colour can support focus, well‑being and energy. I’m still learning, but working with these seven colours has become a grounding practice for me, and I hope these pieces might offer the same sense of calm and support to others.
In the summer, I hang my own stained glass chakra in a tree and let the breeze gently twist the links so the colours shift and reflect in different ways. It’s a small, peaceful moment — though I never leave mine outside for long, as British weather is not kind to glass! Watching the colours move in the light is what inspired me to make these pieces: a simple, balanced line of colour that brings a sense of harmony, reflection and quiet joy into everyday spaces.
Safety information
This item is glass and therefore breakable. Please handle with care and secure the item to a fixed point. All edges have been ground to remove sharpness. Consider how you display the glass and that it is in a safe location away from wagging dog tails or small hands! Lead solder has been used but this is very low risk. However, I always wash my hands after handling to reduce the risk to zero.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
This listing is for one stained glass chakra, made from seven colours of opaque and semi opaque glass. When the light shines through, the colours cast a soft rainbow shadow that many people enjoy using for meditation, mindfulness, self healing or simply bringing a moment of calm into the home. These pieces also look beautiful hanging outside on still, sunny days, though they should not be left out in wind or bad weather.
The finished chakra measures over 30 cm in length and approximately 4 cm in width, including the hanging hook. For stability, it is recommended that you secure the hook to two separate points.
There is a little natural flex in the piece, so please take care not to bend or twist it, as this may weaken the soldered joints.
Each chakra is made using the traditional Tiffany foiled glass method. Every segment is hand cut, edged with copper foil, soldered and cleaned. The colours shown in the photographs are as accurate as possible.
Please ensure that you place (and secure) your glass in a safe location; if the piece falls it is likely to break. The item is not a toy.
Price is for the glass item only.
Postage cost is for 48-hour, second class tracked delivery of a tube. We apologise for the cost of postage but this is a longer item and does not fit into the lower price postage criteria. Any overspend on postage it always returned to the buyer.
