As with many people I find the sight of snowdrops growing through harsh wintry conditions very heartening, and a sign that spring is on the way. This paper collage is inspired by snowdrops I saw growing among fallen autumn leaves at Rhs Harlow Carr.

This sale is for one sample print of my Snowdrops paper collage.
Please note the size is 19.5 x 23 cm- similar to my actual collage.
There is nothing amiss with this print, it's just a sample that I've decided to release from my stock. This is a high quality print onto heavyweight card.
The original collage depicts a bunch of snowdrops growing among rotting leaves with a hint of trees in the background. It is based on a photo I took at Rhs Harlow Carr.
The main image is a close up of the original and the other photos of the sample for sale, including size. It features as one of my most popular card designs.
The original paper collage was created with a variety of pre-painted or printed papers. The leaves are linocut prints cut out and the middles of each cut away to create layers. The snowdrop stems are cut from music paper coloured with an ink pad, and the flowers from a white paper bag. Using book pages in my work adds an extra texture.
The print will be posted securely wrapped in an eco-friendly manner, reusing a packaging envelope.
