I love the moon and am obsessed with the moon phases. My sleep is definitely affected on a full moon! Moons have featured in my bookmarks and keyrings for a long time now and I have made moon pictures in slightly different styles but I absolutely love this design. I think that stuffing it with sheepswool makes such a difference.

Sleepy moon catching a few more moments' sleep before starting the night shift.
This beautiful celestial body has been hand stitched onto a rich blue tweedy backing, stuffed with Herdwick sheepswool and surrounded by glittering glass bead stars that twinkle in the light and presented in a black wooden box frame.
There is no glass in the frame as I would like you to be able to appreciate the warmth that wool gives and the textures that I have created. If it should collect dust, a hairdryer on a cool setting would be enough to blow it away.
