I started making these with the odds and ends of felt, left over from bigger projects. I made 5 to begin with. My husband suggested the name Diddly Bobs, so I put them on my stall in Keswick and sold all 5 within about an hour! As fast as I put them out, they disappear!
People are drawn to their cuteness and they have been given as presents for friends, family members and workmates. My husband still has his battered matchbox in his pocket and takes his Diddly Bob, Peter, with him to work. You can see Peter in the last 2 photos!

Full description
These are sweet little emotional support pals, Diddly Bobs, who live in a matchbox in a pocket or a bag, ready to support you when you need it the most. These darling little egg shaped buddies are made out of 100% wool felt, stuffed with Herdwick Sheepswool and hand stitched. They wear their heart on the outside, because they are full of love.
When you order, the colour of the Diddly Bob and its heart will be chosen at random. With each one comes a tiny envelope containing the Diddly Bob's name, previous occupation and its skills and qualities.
Diddly Bobs are always excited to go to their new home; do let me know where they end up, with a photo if possible!
