Baanabas has genuine curly fleece from real sheep and is made by needle felting with 100% wool fibres (and glass eyes).

Needle felting is the process of using specially designed barbed needles to manipulate wool fibres into 3D objects, such as soft sculpture figurines, or into a solid fabric. It is quite a long process and patience is needed, but it is so absorbing and thoroughly enjoyable!
