My work is inspired by a smelting pot of nature, folklore and pagan ways as well as the Medieval and Celtic aesthetic synonymous with the Arts & Crafts movement. I strive to capture the organic essence of a subject through colour and light, and combine traditional glasswork techniques with contemporary soft solder and metalworking methods to create detailed, textural pieces that feel both modern yet timeless.
Every piece of Trefoil stained glass is handcrafted using a traditional copper foil stained glass technique commonly known as ‘Tiffany Glass’. Each individual glass element is hand cut, wrapped in copper and soldered together. Stained glass, copper, lead-based solder and corrosive chemicals are used during the manufacture process. As such these pieces can be heavy but fragile so care should be taken when deciding where to display your new glass art. Suction-backed sky hooks are not recommended for hanging. While some items are intended for younger customers, they should in no way be considered toys and are for ornamental purposes only. Not suitable for food use. Cleaning: To keep your new glass looking its best gently wipe over with a soft cloth. Do not submerge in water and avoid the use of abrasive chemicals as these may scratch the glass or cause damage to the patina.

Welcome in Spring with this pretty stained glass floral ring: delicate snowbells hand crafted from verdant green cathedral glass and wispy Oceanside Pearl nestled in a twisted copperwork ring. Finished with an antique copper patina.
4" ring diameter. Comes boxed ready to gift.
Snowdrop lore: Associated with a number of celebrations from Imbolc or Brigid's Day to Candlemass, the tiny snowdrop is a symbol throughout Europe of the transition from Winter to Spring, when its small white flowers are the first to bloom often amidst the snow. For this reason snowdrops (or snowbells) represent endurance, resilience, and new beginning. However, the Victorian language of flowers associates them equally with hope and death owing to the flowers shroud-like shape: akin to their winter flora companion, mistletoe, it is believed to be bad luck to pick snowdrops and bring them inside the home. Fortunately there's no such worry here as these ones are made of glass!
