Full description
The small and sharply pointed leaves of the ivy create an interesting pattern within this cyanotype print. The small individually pressed leaves are arranged in layers, with the second layer appearing out of focus, visually softening the piece.
Cyanotypes are one of a kind prints as they are created by exposing light sensitive coated paper to sunlight - each print is affected not only by the composition of botanicals but also by the sunlight conditions.
This 6” x 6” cyanotype is printed on 9” x 9” on 300gsm Snowdon paper and whilst in a frame is shown with a mount. It can be purchased with or without a frame.
