This little candle holder was inspired by the dark night sky of winter. I used a glossy black glaze, contrasting with bright tones of blue.

Rustic little midnight blue ceramic candle holder ! A sweet and delicate ornament, made in the style of a vintage candle holder.
This candle holder was hand built with stoneware clay, glazed with layers of black and blue glaze, and kiln fired. The glossy finish gives a the look of a dark nights sky.
As the glazes melt and interact in the kiln they create different colours and patterns that can't be repeated ! Every piece of pottery I make is completely unique, and may have some little variations in shape. This ornament is a little wonky and this is reflected in the price.
