So many tin are pretty and I think it is a shame that they are put away in cupboards or thrown away, so I make them into jewellery.

Full description
Tall town house style earrings in purple and gold. This pattern was part of the design of the tin that I used, with this house due to the design I could only make one pair of earrings. The gold roof is very shiny. These are curved so that there is some form and they hang nicely when worn, the gold really does catch the light.
These measure approximately 1.4cm wide and 5cm long.
All my tin earrings are hand cut using a jewellery saw, this enables be to follow designs on the tin or create more organic shapes rather than uniform stamped out shaped. I then file the pieces to smooth the edges before shaping or folding the metal. Each piece is then lacquered to protect the surface from scratches, finally I attach silver hooks from recycled silver.
All the tins I use have had a previous life and may show minor signs of this, however I only use tins in good condition.
I do not recommend wearing in water and clean with a soft cloth I’d needed.
