Tins are too pretty to sit in cupboards or be thrown away so I make then into jewellery.

Full description

Lovely white and purple fairly large house earrings made from a recycled tin. They are lightweight earrings that really get noticed. The earrings are curved so that they hand well and don’t look flat.

These earrings measure approximately 2cm wide and 5cm in length. They are supplied on a card in an organza bag.

All of my tin jewellery is hand cut using a jewellery saw as it enables me to be more intricate with the shapes. They are all filed so the edges are smooth, I then shape them as needed before applying lacquer to protect the finished pieces from scratches. Once dry I then attach sterling silver hooks. Though they are lacquered I do not recommend wearing in water.

All the tins I use have had a previous life and may show signs of this, however I only use tins in good condition.

Clean with a soft cloth if needed.
