Tin are to pretty to be thrown away or put away in cupboards so I make jewellery out of them.

Full description

Rather striking house earrings made from a recycled tin. The gold tone of the metal is very shiny and the pink of the windows does pop. They do make quite a statement. I have curved them so that they reflect and look good when worn. These earring measure approximately 2.cm wide and 5cm in length. Supplied on a card in an organza bag.

All my recycled tin jewellery is hand cut with a jewellery saw so I can create more interesting shapes. They are then filed and shaped before I lacquer them to protect the surface patterns from scratches. Once dry I then attach sterling silver hooks.

Please be aware that the tins I use have had a previous life and may show minor signs of this, however I do only use tins that are in good condition.

I don’t recommend wearing in water and please clean with a soft cloth if needed.
