My inspiration for my embroidered heart is my love of Folk Art artefacts and my aim by using traditional methods of hand stitching and embroidery , alongside working with fabrics such as Wool Tweed and Wool Felt to create a modern product reflecting traditional skills and techniques.

Full description
This hand stitched and hand embroidered Lavender heart is a house decoration that may be hung up (there is a small ribbon loop at the top of the heart) or just placed creatively around the home. It is filled with dried Lavender. The heart measures 11cm across the widest part and 10cm from the point of the heart to the centre top of the heart. Dust clean with a dry cloth. The picture of hearts in a basket is a display suggestion showing how a collection can be combined to give a colourful arrangement.
