Full description
Standing tall, with arms reaching up to the sun, this cactus is known as a Saguaro, or Carnegiea gigantea and they can grow to be huge.
I needle felted this much smaller version using natural wool fibres. This cactus is in flower and is wearing a crown of red blooms (which are actually tiny dried flowers) and smaller flowers on the tips of its “arms”. It sits in “soil” in a real terracotta plant pot.

Width at widest point: 9.1 cm
