My background is in Graphic Design and although I'm now retired I still enjoy the creative process. A lot of my work features birds and flowers and I particularly love combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, one-of-a-kind mixed media pieces.

Full description
I've put together a colourful selection of handmade pieces you can use in your own projects. They could be added to book covers or cards, incorporated in journals or use them as a starting point for bigger pieces. There are three textile collages of boho flowers some of which I've embellished with seed beads and a couple of Suffolk puffs with flowers in the centre. I've included a few pieces of trim, one of which has been tinted with inks to match the colour palette and there's a big a selection of woodblock and ink prints. I've used the fabric scraps to make a couple of small striped collages.
As a guide to size, the tulip-style flower in the centre is 12x8cm.
Please note the pieces are not suitable for applications that will come into contact with water.
