The Nebra Sky Disc is a Bronze Age artifact found in Nebra, Germany and is thought to be the oldest depiction of the cosmos known today. It is around 3600 years old. I was gutted to miss seeing it at the British Museum but was inspired enough to create my own interpretation in clay. It blows my mind how amazing it is!

Full description
A white earthenware decorative hanging 'Nebra Sky Disc' decoration, glazed with a beautiful satin turquoise finish, a touch of antique bronze and a whole lot of real 24k gold lustre!
Hung with natural, rustic string. Each of these are hand-made so they are similar but unique.
Size is approx. 10cm - circular
I AM AN EARTHENWARE CREATION - that means that although I am beautiful and strong, I should ideally spend my life indoors. I can be put outside during warmer, dry weather but please take me back inside when it gets wet and cold so that the frost and damp don't cause me to crack.
