This is one of my new deigns, I absolutely love the way that the richness of the glass interacts with the embossed spiral giving hints of the rich terracotta clay below.

These beautiful handmade swirly turquoise ceramic earrings are completely unique and every pair are slightly different.
I had great fun creating this design and the turquoise glaze pairs beautifully with the rich terracotta tones from the clay.
Each pair are presented in a hand stamped kraft gift box and I’m happy to include a personalised message without an extra charge.
I make all my jewellery from clay I forage myself from around my little cabin in Bristol UK, making them some of the most sustainable earrings in the world!
I have been working with foraged clay for a couple of years now and am obsessed with the beautiful texture created when paired with these rich deep glazes! Once I have processed the clay and made my earring designs, they are then fired to stoneware temperatures (1220 Celsius) and become ceramic.
The picture shows the design and glaze used but due to the exciting nature of ceramics each pair will have slight variations. The backs are unglazed exposing the wild terracotta coloured clay. The hooks are made with hypoallergenic stainless steel.
These earrings make a thoughtful well presented gift for any occasion.
