Full description

I handmake these beautiful bright red ceramic Earrings from my little wooden cabin studio on the outskirts on Bristol Uk.

I have been hand foraging clay from different spots around the city for a few years now and love playing with different clay and glaze combinations which all interact in unique ways.

- Each pendant earring is approximately 25mm across with a total drop of 25mm.

- Made with hypoallergenic surgical steel hooks for comfortable everyday wearing (please message me if you want a different metal or style of hook).

- Every pair is presented in a lovely cotton gift bag and is accompanied by a little booklet detailing how I dig and process the clay.

- Fast dispatch and free postage so you can enjoy sooner.

- The back of each earring is left unglazed exposing the beautiful terracotta colours of the wild clay.

Do look at the rest of my shop for lots more stunning designs and follow me on Instagram for videos showing the processes.

I have been working with foraged clay for a few years now and am obsessed with the beautiful textures created when paired with these rich deep glazes! Once I have processed the clay and made my earring designs, they are then fired to earthenware (1060 celcius) temperatures and become ceramic.

The photos show the design and glaze used but due to the exciting nature of ceramics each and every pair will be unique.
