Welcome to the Wonky Towers shop. In our shop you will find a variety of household items and gifts, mostly with an Eco-focus - things that can be used and reused without costing the planet or emptying your wallet. We use up scraps, repurpose materials and prioritise natural new materials. We love colour and our products are attractive, environmentally friendly and useful. We don’t want to be preachy - just to make things that are a pleasure to use.
If you spot something you’d like in a different colour combination or other feature, drop us a message and ask - many things are possible.
Postage: generally we only post to the UK. EU regulations prohibit us from posting to Europe and Northern Ireland. If you wish to order from other parts of the world we will consider this on a case-by-case basis. Our preference to have the delivery tracked will mean the cost may be prohibitive.

If you regularly paint your nails, I wonder what you use to remove the old varnish. A popular choice is those little cotton pads paired with a bottle of remover or wipes that are already soaked in nail varnish remover. Either of these options will do a good job but both are single use - once your nail varnish is removed you throw the pads away.
Here we are offering a waste-free, sustainable solution. Order these pads and you will receive 3 double-sided silver grey pads made from fine bamboo towelling and measuring about 10cm square. We also supply an optional small, white, cotton bag, ideal for storing the pads or keeping them safe should you decide to put them through a machine wash. The bag folds a bit like a pillowcase and is secured with velcro. It has a little hanging loop.
Using the pads is straightforward. Wet the pad with your usual nail varnish remover. Rub the pad on your nails to remove old varnish. When you have finished, rinse the pads straight away under the tap and leave to air dry. You may find using little soap helps this process. Depending on the colour of varnish, the pads may gradually get a little stained but this will not affect their continued use. Pads can be washed in the machine - we've made an optional storage bag to ensure they don't get lost. Choose this in the options.
