Glass beads can break or chip on sudden impact such as dropping onto a hard floor to give sharp edges that could injure the person. The chain and other components are silver plated and although hypoallergenic (nickel and zinc free) could potentially cause an allergic reaction.

Full description
I have used 5 of my own handmade pale blue graduated lampwork glass disc beads in this necklace that have been shaped in the flame, annealed then after cooling and cleaning was etched to create a seaglass effect. The central disc is 16 x 7mm, diameter, the disc either side of this is 13 x 6 mm diameter and the outer ones are 10 x 5mm in diameter. Haematite semi precious stones and silver lined seed beads are used as spacers on the nylon coated wire they are strung upon.
The silver plated chain and heart shaped toggle and bar clasp complete the necklace which is 19" in length.

All my lampwork beads are digitally kiln annealed after shaping in the flame to give greater resilience and durability and once cooled I clean out the clay mandrel release thoroughly by hand reaming before I use them in my designs. The photos show the colour of the beads as accurately as possible being photographed under LED conditions, however, there could be slight variations in shade depending on your monitor. Remember that these are individually handcrafted so may have small imperfections or variations between each one, which makes each of my beads beautifully unique!
