Do you have a tradesperson in your life? If so then you will know they love their tools!
Forge and florae was created by me to acknowledge my father, and partners love of their crafts. Art in a home reflects people’s lives and interests, so why not show some appreciation for their hard work by framing a piece of their life? Perfect for a gift, or to honour someone who has passed.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Complete one off, unique art, designed to honour our hardworking tradespeople.
Flower power is mounted beautifully ready to hang on cedar finished in osmo oil.
46x16cms in size. The poppy is the flower for the birth month of august but I felt it really fitted flower power here, as it’s luscious bright colours burst out and make a statement
I can also offer pieces unmounted so you can hold them as they are gloriously tactile.
I can also offer commissions. When a loved one dies we can often be left with a few of their tools. They are often put in the garden shed or attic, as something they have touched or been around for hours can be hard to part with, even if you don’t know what to do with them. Wooden handled tools that loved ones have left behind can be restored, and made into beautiful art, perhaps using their birth month flower, or shells from their favourite beach as inspiration.
Alternatively, you may have completed a house renovation and have a little tool you’d like to keep as a memento. If you send me this I can clean it, and cheer it up with a painting ready for its next life as meaningful art in your home.
Please contact me so we can discuss options. I look forward to hearing from you.
Please hang in a dry environment as damp may cause damage to this piece over time.
