My family and I have always loved playing games and this is no exception!
Living close by the sea in a coastal village, the wind or driving rain often stops our ancient TV or internet working so we never rely on them and make our own fun. I always encourage my children to be creative, and it was lovely to give them something to enjoy, which also felt personal for them, being about the magical place where they are growing up. I really felt other families would really enjoy the game too - and perhaps like mine, be inspired to make up a game of their own or get creative with counter painting! I know the world is moving to a computer based age but I really feel there is an important space for the good old fashioned board game,and all the discussion, and silly laughs they can bring to a room. It’s half an hour to sit and enjoy each other in the present that inspires me

Dreckley is a beautifully hand painted, roll the dice board game, for ages five plus.
Whether you’re a local, or a Cornwall lover, you need this game in your cupboard for some serious silly family fun! No big rule book, or hard to follow instructions- just good old fashioned family fun - racing around the Duchy, using charming themed wooden counters, to see who will reach the famous First and Last Inn and claim victory! Be wary of mineshafts, tricksy piskies, and other slips along the way - will you be there first or will players be seeing you dreckley?
Painted in watercolour and ink, in the Wild West of Cornwall, Dreckley has been printed in Penzance on top quality card, with a laminated finish for a durable wipe clean surface.
Dreckley will be supplied with a dice and five gorgeous sea themed counters. I think we all remember having our favourite character in a well known money based game, who are you likely to chose - lighthouse? Shell? Mermaid? An added bonus is these counters are plain wood, so you or children can paint your counter- really personalising the game to your family!
