I am inspired by the natural world. Large oak and lime trees are growing in front of my studio window and I take their twisting branches as inspiration for my handcrafted jewellery. The idea for the necklace was born after looking at traditional copper printing plates for which artists use a similar method.

Full description
The necklace pendant has been handmade from a thin copper plate which is first cut and hammered into shape, before being burnished with a blow torch. In a final step the tree ornament is added by hand, using a fine needle for engraving.
The necklace is finished with a thin leather necklace and a clasp.
