Hi, I'm Jessica, an artist, writer and historian, living and working in Oxford. Originally from Germany, I worked as a journalist for radio and television before moving to the United Kingdom in 2015, where in recent years I have worked as a writer and German language specialist. I am currently a full-time freelance artist and writer.

I create wearable art pieces on canvas fabric with a mix of acrylic paint and fabric binder, making them durable and washable. I also design my own jewellery using recycled materials and wood combined with hand-painted motives inspired by landscapes and stories. I am happy to create custom made pieces based on your ideas. I always had a creative streak for which I found an outlet in writing short stories, crafting and occasionally painting with acrylics. I started to fully rediscover my passion for painting in 2019. For my landscape paintings I am currently working mainly in oils, but occasionally also go back to my original passion of painting with acrylics. Especially outside, for smaller works and when travelling, I also love using pastels. Sometimes I combine all these materials in one painting or add natural pigments and materials, leave gold or ink.
