Full description
'Hushabye Mountain' - a little wooden cabin sits tucked away in the snowy mountains. This unique miniature scene is inspired by my love of the mountains of Scotland, and my life goal of having a cabin in the wilderness to escape to!
All my dioramas aim to create an alternative little world within a small contained space, something I was fascinated by as a child, and which continues to capture my imagination today.
The design comes from original drawings which have been transformed into layers of laser cut wood, painted by hand and built up to form 3d layers set into a sage green, glazed wooden box frame, which measures approx 11.5cm; the scene itself measures approx 7.8cm x 7.8cm x 1.5cm.
To show its details clearly, this item is pictured without its frame glass.
PLEASE NOTE: The last image is for scale only and hopefully gives you an idea of the size of these little framed dioramas.
