I love the beach and beach combing when time allows, collecting glass, fossils, shells and drift wood from around uk coatlines.
The thing that makes Seaham sea glass so special is its origins. It comes from the remnants of a huge Victorian bottle factory that operated in the town until its closure in 1921. The factory discarded its waste into the sea which over time became tumbled by the waves to create the sea glass that is there today with its naturally frosted appearance.

Full description
Aqua green sea glass wrap ring featuring a sterling silver Ammonite.
The beautiful natural light frosted sea tumbled sea glass was collected by myself from Seaham beach, the transparent glass is freeform shape and I made the setting to fit the glass.
On one side of the oval lightly hammered ring band sits a fully backed rub over setting which encases the wonderful sea glass, at the opposite side of the band ring is a small sterling silver ammonite decoration.
The ring size is a size S, the sea glass is 1 cm x 1.1 cm, the ammonite is 0.6 cm, the ring band is approximately 3.5 mm wide x 2 mm thick.
The ring is fully hallmarked and includes my makers mark.
Arrives in a gift pouch inside one of my handmade gift boxes.

A great gift for an ocean beach sea lover.
The sea glass was collected by myself from Seaham beach.
No treatment has been used, the glass has been cleaned only, the frosting being naturally created and caused by being tumbled in the sea.
This sea glass can have a clearer appearance if you prefer by simpley wiping a very little mineral or baby oil over the glass, removing any unwanted oil with a soft cloth.

The collection is all based around what your would find in the ocean, sea, sand and shorelines, to include anything from fossils, shells, through to sea glass and lots of things between.
