This vase was inspired by the natural warmth and character of Western Red Cedar. Its swirling grain and subtle colour shifts feel organic and calming, and I wanted to shape the wood in a simple, balanced form that allows those natural details to shine. The result is a piece that feels earthy, honest, and quietly expressive—bringing a touch of nature indoors.

This small handcrafted vase is turned from Western Red Cedar and stands approximately 5 and a half inches tall. The cedar displays soft, flowing grain patterns with natural colour variations ranging from warm honey tones to deeper reddish hues. Light in weight yet full of character, this vase has a smooth finish that enhances the wood’s natural beauty. Ideal as a decorative piece or for displaying dried or artificial flowers, each vase is completely unique.
