Being sustainable and making ethical choices is at the core of my beliefs and I take inspiration from the place where I live, the beautiful Scottish Highlands. The wool used to make my rugs is almost always from known flocks of local sheep. I usually know the sheep personally as they belong to friends and neighbours.

Full description
The wool used in the making of this rug came from the crofts surrounding my home. here in the far north Highlands of Scotland. It is made using Shetland, Cheviot cross and also Blue Texel. Its a bonny combination and feels gorgeous underfoot. Fully hand processed, from the spinning and washing of the yarn, to the weaving on one of my wonderful, vintage floor looms.
