Full description
I do like poppies previously I have made prints of poppy seed heads but this time I turned my interest to the flower and flower bud.
My aim was to just use the colour red and the paper for the print, this created some issues but I finally came on a composition I liked, taking out the black areas to leave white gave the most pleasing result. A fair amount of fine line carving including little hairs on the flowering stem.
Printed on acid free printmakers paper with Cranfield safe wash ink.
Print supplied unmounted but well packaged using tracked postage.
Please be aware that individual screen settings may alter colours from original print.
