Chosen from a yew in my neighbours back garden. Sadly the beautiful tree was causing damage to the house. I was gifted this beautiful wood and as I turned this piece, the beauty of the wood spoke out. It is so different from any other piece I have turned. A real beauty.
Ideal for a dry flowered arrangement of simply left to shine by itself.

Pith like fire through dark wood shines.
Grain twists and dances, wild, unplanned,
A story etched by nature’s hand.
