The Story Behind the Piece
This bowl was created from locally sourced beech. The wood was carefully reclaimed and turned by hand, allowing the natural character and grain of the timber to continue its story in a new form. The carved and colour-decorated rim brings warmth and contrast, complementing the quiet presence of the wood itself. Each piece is unique, shaped by both the history of the tree and the making process.

Full description
This is a hand-turned beech wood bowl measuring approximately 30 cm in diameter. The bowl has a wide, shallow form, making it an eye-catching decorative piece for a table or shelf.
The interior is smoothly finished to reveal the natural pale colour and flowing grain of the beech wood. The rim is hand-carved with a textured pattern and decorated in warm yellow, red, and orange tones, adding depth, contrast, and visual interest while highlighting the carved surface.
Each bowl is individually made, so the grain pattern and carved details are unique. This piece is intended as a decorative item rather than for food use.
