Hi and welcome to The Old Button Sews, where I sell beautiful gifts designed and sewn by me.
I am closed for the Christmas break. I hope you all have a great holiday, and look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

All aboard the Clifton Express. This little fabric purse has a fabulous vintage style train and bus ticket print, taking you to London Paddington, Taunton in Devon, and of course Clifton in Bristol.
Ideal as a purse for holding small change or little items in a bigger bag, it could also be used for keeping bus or train tickets.
Part of my zero waste range, these fun purses have been made with salvaged materials. The front is a scrap of quilting cotton I found in a destash sale, the back is soft green-grey textile reclaimed from a curtain sample book, and I used vintage factory deadstock zips. A very eco consious gift that will appeal to teenagers and adults alike.
It is lightly padded for structure and lined with white cotton.
Size approx: 12cm wide x 10cm high
Four available - 2 with blue zips and 2 with orange. The placement of the front print varies.
Designed by Sharon Lloyd in my attic sewing room in South Wales
