I love watching the birds, I observe and draw them and then develop these drawings into prints and art works that aim to capture the spirit of the bird.

Full description
I love watching blackbirds, they know their own minds are have their own characters. This bright monoprint aims to capture some of the spirit of the blackbird as he struts across the summer grass.
Made in layers this is a one of a kind artwork. I used a gel plate onto which I drew and painted in layers to create the final print. Subtle hints of gold really make this print glimmer.
The print measures around 14 cm x 14 cm and will come to you mounted on a piece of mountboard and wrapped in cellophane to protect it.
