Christmas posting dates are approaching. My last order date for Christmas delivery within the UK is Monday, the 15th of December. Orders placed after this may arrive after the 25th. Royal Mail delays are outside my control, especially in December, but every order will be made and dispatched with care.
Fully customisable, made-to-order options are available. Many of my pieces can be tailored to you, whether that is custom colours, different sizes, UV-protected finishes or adapting an indoor pot for outdoor use. Custom orders take up to 7 days to make, so please order these earlier if you would like them before Christmas. I will always let you know the estimated delivery time when you order.
International orders, including the US, are welcome but may not arrive in time for Christmas as delivery times vary. Please allow extra time for these deliveries.
Screen colours can vary slightly, and handmade mineral pieces are best kept out of direct sunlight to help preserve their vibrancy. If you have an idea, send me a message, and I will be happy to help design a piece for your space.
This black square pot was inspired by the quiet elegance of simple forms and deep, solid colour. I wanted to create a piece that felt calm and grounded, something that could sit comfortably in any room while still offering a sense of presence. The rich black tone was chosen for its ability to make surrounding colours stand out, especially the greens and purples often found in indoor plants.
Working with a natural mineral material allowed me to shape a smooth, tactile surface that takes on a gentle satin sheen once polished. The squared design gives the pot a modern, architectural feel, while the colour keeps it timeless and versatile. The aim was to create a piece that supports the plant without competing with it, adding quiet sophistication and a sense of balance to a shelf, desk or windowsill.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Black square plant pot sized at approximately 10 cm wide, 10 cm high and 10 cm long. This modern planter has a smooth stone-like finish and a deep black colour that works beautifully with many interior styles. Its simple shape and clean lines make it a striking accent for shelves, desks or small indoor plants, and it makes a lovely gift for plant lovers and anyone who enjoys contemporary handmade decor.
The pot is handmade from a natural water-based mineral material with a hard stone-like finish. The exterior is hand-polished with plant-based wax for a soft satin sheen, and the interior is sealed with varnish to add durability. Subtle air bubbles or slight colour variations are part of the handmade process and make each pot unique. Cork pads on the base help protect surfaces.
This pot does not have a drainage hole and is intended for indoor use with a plastic nursery pot. If you need a pot with drainage holes, a version for outdoor use, a UV-protected finish for sunny spots or a different colour, please get in touch. Custom orders are handmade to order and may take up to 7 days to dispatch.
Keeping handmade mineral pots out of strong direct sunlight will help maintain their colour over time. If you would like a version suitable for a sunny spot, message me so that I can create a custom pot with a UV-protected finish.
Your order will be wrapped in tissue paper and packaged using reused or recycled materials wherever possible.
