The inspiration for this piece truly began not with a design, but with the material itself: a wonderful piece of reclaimed wood. I felt compelled to honour its age and history, letting the natural grain and the wood's dual tones guide the final form.
My goal was to capture the quiet magic you feel walking through an ancient forest—a place where everything is in perfect, subtle harmony.
The mushroom form was a natural fit, representing growth, regeneration, and the silent mysteries of the earth.
