Full description
A short plain silverplated vintage pickle fork with PICK YOUR PICKLE hand stamped at the base of the tines. Perfect for serving olives or other pickles - and why not combine with a handmade serving bowl (there are lots on Folksy!) and maybe a jar of something to put in it?
The fork is a dinky 14cm long with three tines. I've coloured the lettering black with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic paint. Hand washing will prolong the pigment life and be kinder to the silver plating than a dishwasher. Any tarnish can be easily removed with a drop of silver polish or one of those impregnated silver-cleaning cloths. Avoid leaving the fork standing in acidic liquids such as vinegar pickles, preserved lemons or chutneys, as these can cause pitting and discoloration to the plating.
