Full description
This fabulous tea cosy is created in double knit weight yarn in a mix of black and white stripes and chequerboard pattern. It is worked in stranded colour work, intentionally pulling the alternate shade too tight to create pleats. The cosy is decorated with leaves and flowers which are sewn on. I have written the patterns for the cosy, leaves and flowers as shown, but feel free to decorate your cosy as you wish, with maybe just a pom pom on the top, or more flowers!
My pattern is written so it is very easy to understand. It is ideal for an intermediate knitter.
