bah humbug! this little ghost is full of festive spirit! well, sort of. he is wearing a wreath and a tangle of red ribbons, ready to deck the halls while he haunts them.
this sweet spirit is one of a pair i made to celebrate the season.
this unique artwork is an original collaged piece, on khadi paper. the ghost, leaves and ribbons are hand drawn on separate pieces of khadi paper, coloured with art pens and watercolour paints, and each component is then cut out, and layered on to a background of handmade paper and painted tissue paper. the whole piece is then mounted onto an A5 sized piece of textured paper (300gsm), which i have painted with a paynes grey to give a dark surround/background.
