Lovely little brooches with nostalgic scenes that look like a feel-good Christmas movie. Love, peace and joy signs, two swans, dogs in jumpers, or a snowy christmas tree. Or choose your own scene from the stunning snowy winter landscape fabric. Which would you choose?
Perfect to wear to the office instead of a Christmas jumper, this brooch would make a fabulous Secret Santa gift or stocking filler. Sent wrapped in tissue in a sturdy cardboard box, the ornament is ideal for gifting by post.
Part of my zero waste approach to crafting, I fussy cut the scenes from fabric reclaimed from a pre-loved duvet cover. I've paired it up with wool felt in beautiful teal, aqua, red or green, machine blanket stitching it in place to catch any stray threads. The metal brooch bar fastening has a rolling safety lock, and has been securely hand stitched to the back.
The felt is made by hand in Nepal, and is thicker than standard felt so the brooch sits nicely.
A number of scenes to choose from, including custom order. Placement within the decoration will vary, making each one a little different.
CUSTOM choice - at the moment I can make up a brooch in any of the scenes shown in the final fabric. Please note that the scene will be trimmed down to size - please give details if you especially want a part included. .
Size: approx 2 inches by 3.5 inches (5cm by 8.5cm).
