My dolls had become very much about the story and the surface, and I was wanting to get movement back into them! These mermaids were part of that journey.

Full description

One of three Blue Flowery Mermaids made from a 1970s blue flowery sheet. These were experiments in making jointed tails, and also in getting familiar with a new sewing machine and way of working.

Made a few years ago, they have hand and machine stitched details and are stuffed with soft polyester stuffing.

Measuring approx 75cm from hair tip to tail tip, she is made to hang on a wall, but could easily just laze around...

I am just packing up from an Open House trail and the mermaids decided they did not want to go back in the trunk, so - here they are, all three listed separately, greatly reduced in the hopes that you might want to adopt them... or one!
