I returned to creativity during a tricky time as a way to support my mental health, and making these pieces has become a grounding and healing part of my life. I work intuitively, letting colour, mood and the natural world guide me, and over time I’ve developed my own style and technique through play, practice and curiosity.
This piece, Lilly Pads, was inspired by the calm of water, gentle reflections and the soft, peaceful movement found in nature. Creating it brought me a sense of stillness — and I hope it brings a little moment of that calm to you too.
Safety information
This is an original artwork created using acrylic paint, soft pastel and mixed media on paper. All materials used are non-toxic, but this item is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of young children. Please avoid placing the artwork in direct moisture, extreme heat, or prolonged direct sunlight to preserve colour quality. Pastel areas may be delicate, so handle with care and avoid touching the artwork surface. No known allergens. Mount and backing materials are paper/card-based.
