Beautiful little hanging ornaments in nostalgic scenes that look like a feel-good Christmas movie. Love, peace and joy signs, a marching band by the Christmas tree, or a colourful cottage with musical notes. Which would you choose?
A fabulous Secret Santa gift or stocking filler. Or why not buy it for yourself to decorate your tree. Sent wrapped in tissue in a sturdy cardboard box, the ornament is ideal for gifting by post.
Part of my zero waste approach to crafting, I fussy cut the scenes from fabric reclaimed from a pre-loved duvet cover. I've paired it up with wool felt in beautiful teal, aqua or green, machine blanket stitching it in place to catch ant stray threads. A silky twisted cord has been securely stitched beteween the layers to form a hanging loop. The felt is made by hand in Nepal, and is thicker than standard felt - giving the decoration a robust shape so it hangs nicely.
Size: approx 2 inches by 3.5 inches (5cm by 8.5cm).
